IHC has been decked out with interactive media such as our touchscreen installations and augmented reality guided tour. Our developments has also enabled IHC to be one of the first museums in Singapore to pioneer the use of augmented reality, where visitors are able to have an immersive experience via a dedicated mobile app with personal virtual guides. With the app, visitors to the museums are also able to view and interact with the various artefacts and exhibitions in greater detail, adding to their educational experience.
A large touchscreen table display is situated in the Indian Heritage Centre for museum visitors to interact with. As they touch the various points on the screen, they are able to view and read more information at their fingertips.
The power of augmented reality allows visitors to be guided by a virtual tour guide as they view the numerous artefacts in the museum. This creates an interactive time spent at the museum, where users are able to learn and view the different artefacts in their own time.
