The Sales Administrator will report to and assist the Business Development Manager. This position is an ideal starting point for someone looking to enter the professional world, especially in the IT sector. The role will require the individual to gain a deep understanding of general business processes, as well as develop fundamental skills related to Account Servicing and B2B Sales & Marketing. 

 

Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source for new marketing and business opportunities
  • Develop and update marketing materials
  • Tender for government projects on online procurement platforms
  • Prepare proposal and presentation materials for pitches to potential clients
  • Assist in drafting quotations based on customer requirements
  • Help manage new client accounts and meet or exceed targets relating to revenue growth, activities, profit margin, mix of products and services sales, customer retention and customer acquisition
  • Track performance of marketing channels, prepare analytical summary reports, and contribute suggestions for improvements

 

 

Skills required

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • A recognised Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Business Studies / Administration / Marketing would be preferred but is not essential
  • High degree of thoroughness and accuracy when reviewing or creating materials
  • A keen interest in the digital world (websites, mobile apps, games, VR, etc.)
  • Proficiency with office software (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and professional work-ethic; self-motivated and who can function independently if needed
  • Any experience in a sales role or the media industry would be an added advantage

Role

 

  • Managing project development from start to end
  • Planning, organizing and tracking work schedule to ensure all project datelines are delivered on time
  • Coordinating and overseeing developers and outsourced teams work and ensure projects are carried out as per schedule
  • Communicating and coordinating with clients to clarify requirements of the project 
  • Drafting and summiting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes when necessary
  • Proactively managing changes in project scope 
  • Identifying potential problems and devise contingency plans to minimize project risks
  • Mentoring project team members and developers

Skills required

 

  • A recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Sales / Mass communication or equivalent discipline
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in Project Management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent client-facing and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Team player as well as independent in managing tasks
  • Experience in agile software development would be an added advantage
